Something missing on my Kronos 61?

In the Parameter Guide, page 21, left hand column, 3rd paragraph down, a section titled “Front panel LEDs for sliders and knobs” the text claims that there are LEDs next to the slider and around the knobs. I still haven't found them. Did the robot forget to drill the holes? Or is this a cut and paste from the M3 manual. Never had an M3 so I don’t know if that is the case. Or is this a function that was scratched at production due to cost limitation. I like LEDs. They look pretty in the dark. And the fact that they would be a graphic representation of the controllers status. So what is up Korg?!?!?!

Must be a cut and paste from the Oasys manual (as the Kronos was based on that, not the M3). The Oasys has LEDs. They were cut as part of the cost reduction in Kronos.

Yes, Danatkorg in a post some time ago admitted that some elements from the OASYS manual were mistakenly carried into the Kronos manual.
He has said that future manuals should correct such errors.

Yes, thanks for noting this; I've corrected it in the manuals for the upcoming version 1.5 software.

Insert LEDs like OASYS will be better than correct the manual.

I would be happy to have physical pads instead of LEDs. But unfortunately I still can't. As well, it would be nice to have compact-size USB-MIDI controller which consists of panel 3x3 PADs. Such a panel would fit comfortably on the left side of KRONOS. But none of the manufacturers does not create such devices.

http://novationmusic.com/products/digital_dj/dicer was mentioned in one post here on the forums, that might work? (I'm not sure if they can be assigned to CC's or single notes tho).

Yes, they can be assigned as You want in KRONOS Global Settings. But I'd like if all pads were identical. Like Roland Fantom for example.
