Hi Guys,
Made small pack of several most common metronomes (as drum user patterns) for those of you who need to train piano skills.
Please, download the file METR_M50.PCG from my site http://www.aldanmusetools.com/Download.html

Patterns are: Metro 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/8, 6/8 Triplet Feel, 7/8, 12/8, 12/8 Triplet Feel

How to use:
• Put file on SD card (or USB stick for M3 users)
• Select MEDIA mode, choose the file and open it.
• After selecting section “Drum Patterns” you can load all patterns together. Then they will be placed as U000 – U008 slots of drum user patterns.
• Or you can open section “Drum Patterns” and load patterns one-by-one with defining user slots manually as you like.
These patterns can be used both in Programs and in Combinations.

For using in Program mode:
- Select dezired program for keyboard training (for example it could be A000: M50 Grand)
- Goto PROG P7: ARP/DT screen
- On tab “Drum Trk Prog“ select program “E062: Standard Studio Kit”
- On tab “Drum Trk Pattern“ set Pattern > User > U000 Metr 2-4 (or another pattern)
By default metronome clicks are sounding with Opened and Muted triangles.
You can change clicks to sound with woodblocks by setting Shift: -4 (or -5 another timbres)
Mode > Start Immediately
- Switch ON button DRUM TRACK ON/OFF and you will hear metronome clickings.

- To adjust Tempo go back to PROG P0:PLAY screen and set required tempo.
- To balance of volume could be set on the same screen at tab OSC/DT Mixer
- If you need more loud metronome return to page PROG P7: ARP/DT screen and adjust gains levels on tab “Drum Trk Prog“
If you like how program works save settings with Menu/Write Program

For using in Combination mode:
- Select desired combination.
- Goto COMBI PO: PLAY screen and set any free timbre slot to drum kit “E062: Standard Studio Kit”
- Then on COMBI P3: Timbre Param screen set channel of drum timbre to 10
- Goto COMBI P7: ARP/DT screen and on tab “Drum Trk“set to:
Pattern > User > U000 Metr 2-4 (or another pattern)

Hi Syntey, As for M3 or Kronos that roughly means the file was made for prior OS data chunck definitions and some parameters are not valid anymore. But never experienced this kind of message with M50.

Hmm. I have M50 OS 1.1.0. Can you reupload the metronomes ? Thanks.

i was overjoyed to see the advertisement of metronome pcg------>dnloaded with utmost enthusiasm---->borrowed an sdcard from a frnd----->but to my horror found korg m50 saying
file unavailable




by the way is there any reason to be alarmed considering that the file is just 1.78kb and might just as well turn out to be a spoof!the emblem of korg forum on upper rt.corner of this page would measure bigger in terms of memory....

i believe some technical faults had rendered the file unusable while it was uploaded to the site.reloading or refreshing the same might solve the problem....looking forward to the revised upload...by the way i have the latest version 5 os installed on m50.but lotz of tnx for sharing such good pcg like m3expanded tone file for m50....



one last thing the korg forum emblem is 4.7 kb.i dnloaded and verified it.

Ok Guys I see. Sorry, can't promose quick action due to a bit buzy now. Have a look again in a week or so after NY.

Sorry. You were right, the file appeared to be corrupted. Don't know how it happend. I've uploaded new one. Don't worry that it is very small. There are few metronome patterns only.
Doublechecked and it works now, at least on my keyboard. Please, let me know if any troubles on your side.

got the pcg....loaded in2 my m50 and its working great....wow....
yatrix,this is really a very nice thing that u have shared with all of us worldwide...
it will be helpful for proffessionals and amateurs(like me) who need to play in time....
