Hello everyone.
I wonder if You experienced something like this:
when sequencing with Cubase long release sounds stops suddenly with no noticeable reason. The moment of this stop is pretty random.
It happens when more then one midi track is in the project.
It sounds the same as symptom of lack of polyphony. But You know it is O.
Piano track+ strings track is not too much I guess;)
Maybe I changed something in preferences (Cubase), but I can't find the cause. I would appreciate any help.
Thanks.
Dominik
EDIT. It may have something to do with sustain automation track in other midi track. Strings are affected with sustain of piano. Is it possible?

I have the same issue with my Korg M50. Got no solution for you now, but I'll try to remember you if i figure it out/get help in the M50 forum.

It's almost certainly a polyphony problem.

Maybe too many string notes are sustaining, as you suggest. Try thinning out the string part a little - sometimes 3 well-spaced notes will be more effective than 4 or 5 closely-spaced notes.
