Very Korg Based Performance

Post by phillwilson »

Hi all,

I thought you might be interested in this live set by me "MyOneManBand"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hofzD8y2tT4

My music is all created live from scratch each gig starting with nothing in the sequences at all (ok sometimes a single 4/4 hi hat to get my timing)

i compose live on the fly so every week is very differant.

korg wise.... this one uses

ER-ii , ESX, KP3 , MK XL and Ko Pro along with lots of other non korg gear.

hope you like.

thanks

Very cool! I dug it to pieces.

So far I've avoided using much automation but I love to record simple grooves and then "jam" with myself. Then I "rewind" and lay on more layers until there's enough (or sometimes too much).

I'd like to assemble a 3 or 4 player extemporaneous group in which we take turns starting and then the others jam layers. But finding others who can jam like this is tricky.
