I'm really having trouble in combi mode.
I'm trying to create a very simple two timbre combi of a piano and an organ.
I'm selecting the desired programs in the first two timbres, yet I get no sound out of the kronos at all.
Any clues as to what i'm doing wrong would be much appreciated. As you can probably tell the Kronos is my first foray into the Korg workstation world!
Cheers

If you just need the SGX-1 and the CX-3, then you can make one new program with 2 EXi's: one for piano and the other for CX-3 and you still have the Drum Track. IMHO, you really don't need to build a COMBI unless you want to have more KARMA modules...

You don't mention if you are connected to a DAW, are you trying to layer or split, is Local Control On or Off,
is midi in or out involved, what channels are selected for each Timbre etc..
I think you will get a more decisive answer if we have a little more info.
Have been able to put together an organ and a piano in a new program as suggested. Thanks for the tip!!
It turns out I wasn't going completely crazy, as I also started to get a system startup failure message when I fired her up every now and again. I've spoken to my retailer, who have spoken to Korg and they're going to replace it as it turns out its faulty!!
Thanks for all the help though guys
