Loving the Kronos sounds..No problem at all with the brass
Actually, the more I play it, the more I prefer it to the MOTIF XF
what say you??

the trumpet is "overblown" factory
sax, I believe is also factory (NOT exs)
Originally, I thought MOTIF xf were better in this department, But now I'm having my doubts..If only Korg could get a better nylon guitar happening
Than I'd be totally happy with my Kronos
I'm waiting for this "keybed" issue to die down, so I can get a weighted Kronos, since that's what i stared with!!
thank you .would love to hear what you' all got.
RIch Formidoni said in one of his videos that this is the best keyboard he's ever owned.I'm really starting to feel that way too, with barely scratching the surface of what it can do...

You used the sound very well to make such a composition, it sounds so good because you can program it well and/or record well on it.
Btw, of course Rich says it's the best he ever had ... but he is right

It's also the best I ever had (and have).

I know that Rich Formidoni just might be biased, but in his video he says he's not speaking as a "Korg rep" just as a musician in a band.. I believe him
I think the range of sounds from realistic acoustic to synth textures is amazing. Like I said, I hope the guitars improve, maybe with an expansion release.

Due to the EXi platform it might be possible an electric guitar expansion will be made, on the other hand, we will only know until it is there.

Sounds good. I still have the original Trinity demo sequences somewhere, I remember that the big band track blew me away.
I still prefer my Motif XS for "acoustic" sounds over this track, though I'd be hard pressed to play a jazz track as well as you've done on any workstation!

thanks being in bands for many years that did not use live horns, I've grown accustomed to doing it myself.
DId a gig this weekend,,found that the strings and horns sounded thin.
wants the best way to improve that?
Add low EQ?
less High EQ?
mds?
Equalizer?
I'm using a QSC 12' 1000 powered speaker and a Roland KC150
left goes to one speaker... right goes to the other
maybe a little mixer?

I don't think a mixer would help, you can mix it also in the M3 but normally a stereo mix makes it wider. Probably you need to tune the MID frequency.

I expect that brass and strings will sound bad on a Roland KC amp no matter what you do. Have you tried just using a mono signal ( left ONLY - don't connect the right output to anything) through the QSC?

No i haven't tried that, I don't want to lose the stereo though
Can't stand running mono any more.
