Help! Can't save sequence in Disk Mode

Help!
I've been working on a song in the sequencer for the last few hours. I've gone into disk mode to save it, but all the options in the page are disabled. I can't save anything: sequence data, global, programs etc. The sequencer is stopped, there's nothing playing. I've tried switching modes with no effect.
I'm probably doing something really stupid, but I can't work out how to save this sequence. I've never run into this issue before.
Please help, as otherwise I will lose the track I've been working on.
Thanks in advance.

I don't know if you try to save it on the HDD or a USB ... if the current location to save to is a USB, try to change it to SSD so at least you can save everything on the SSD and when that works you can try to check why the USB does not work (reinsert USB stick maybe? or the USB stick is corrupt).

In disk mode you have to select Save, lower left tab. Now all of your options will appear in the upper right drop down.

I cant't tell what the problem might be, but before you loose your work, you could record it via midi into a DAW...

Thanks all for your super quick and helpful replies.
Lou, the Save tab is selected, but all the save options (e.g. "Save Global", "Save Sequencer") in the page menu are greyed out. I've tried saving to both SSD and USB Thumb Drive, have also tried creating new folders.
The only time I've seen this happen is when the sequencer is playing, which prevents you from saving data.
Thanks Markn for the suggestion of saving to my DAW via MIDI. I shall do that now and see if I can solve the problem tomorrow morning.
I think my Kronos is trying to tell me that my work is rubbish and not worth saving. The Kronos has become sentinent. Run for your lives!

Do you have the correct Disk selected where you want to save. It won't show the options until you select the correct destination.

I assume you also tried starting & stopping drum kit/karma?
You also could call Korg support and don't switch it off meanwhile.
(Maybe you cannot save it because it is so good that other musicians would stop making music after hearing your music.)

Probably not the case, but just in case, go to GLOBAL MODE and in the first tabs (BASIC > BASIC) make sure the Memory protect option for Songs is not enabled.
Rgds.

I found a solution. Pressing "Compare" in sequencer mode resolved the issue. Even though the "Compare" mode indicator wasn't lit, pressing it once fixed the problem. Seems it may have been placed in compare mode, without illumiinating the indicator.
I'm guessing this may be a bug?
Thanks to everyone for their assistance.

You could try pressing Compare, then switch to another mode (progrma/combi), maybe press Compare again for that mode, go to seq mode and check if it is still lit (I am not at my Kronos now).

Is it possible your song was still running ?
When you play your song, the sequencer doesn't stop automatically and keeps going...
