I doubt it, for the last 10 years or so they make 61 in synth action and 76 (later 73) and 88 in weighted.
I still have a Korg N264 which is 76 key synth action btw.

Developer of the free PCG file managing application for most Korg workstations: PCG Tools, see https://www.kronoshaven.com/pcgtools/
This is the first weighted 73/76 Korg I have had. All others only the 88 was weighted. (TritonLE, Triton Extreme, M3)michelkeijzers wrote:I doubt it, for the last 10 years or so they make 61 in synth action and 76 (later 73) and 88 in weighted.

Kronos 73 #8xx Hammond XK3C Axiom 61 Mainstage 3.32 with OMNISPHERE 2.51 AbletonLive 9.74 controlled by SETLIST MAKER on iPhone8+ Arturia V Collection Classics, Reason 10 with Reason Pianos, SonicRefills Gold + Ian McIntosh Patches, UVI Falcon, Sylenth, Giant Alicia Keys Various EASTWEST Libraries Sample Robot 5 Pro OSX Vintage Organ Pack Christian Cullen
Sound like a nice idea about 88 synth keys and probably will be very interesting.
but speaking about now, i know only Music Computing makes such in StudioBlade 88 GEN 2.
p.s.
But i think it will be cool to see if Korg will do the same with Kronos, because many people dislike piano action keybad, but they need extended range of keys which 61 verson is limited

Chilly7, exactly. I need more keys plus having 88 allows you to have samples on the lower keys to trigger from. Plus when I want to play piano I would like the full range and when playing organ I want to be able to play with an organ action.
I don't see why Korg could not have that as an option.
thay say "the game has changed" well haw about thinking out of the box and have an 88 semi-weighted Kronos!
One of the advantages of the Kronos is to be able to gig with just one keyboard, I don't want to have to bring another keyboard or controller to have the best of both.
Am I alone here or what?

I don't think Korg is the only brand who does that ...
Why don't you consider hooking up a cheap MIDI controller ? I use an M-Audio Axiom 61 on top of my Kronos...
It's much easier then having to create splits or switching sounds...

Old gig setup: Yamaha S90, Roland Fantom XR, Hammond XM-1, M-Audio Axiom 61
2011 gig setup: Korg Kronos 88

+1. Get a DGX-530 or something.mathieumaes wrote:I don't think Korg is the only brand who does that ...

Kronos 61, Kronos2-88, Hammond B3, Baldwin SD-10
My point is to only carry around one intrument for all gigs unless maybe a piano concerto, which I won't be doing one of those any time soon. The M3 semi keyboard on the Kronos works fine for any of the piano sounds I use. I have a 61 Kronos but would gladly sell if an 88 semi shows up. I thought of getting an 88 controller but could only find heavy ones. The M-audio action is terrible. Korg just make an 88 semi and make me smile!
Hell, I'd be happy with a 73 or 76 semi-weighted. To me the 73 key weighted at 46 lbs, might as well go for the 88 at 51 lbs, both of which is way too heavy if you include a case for the weekend warior. I really doubt we'll see anything but the 61 semi-weighted,
so I'm sticking with the M3 C-C 73 semi.
I was asking for this future fwe time ago to Yamaha, Kurzweil and maby Korg, but nobody listened to me.marcdeben wrote:Chilly7, exactly. Maby because of my terrable English lol
Hope they will listen to u now and maby they will make such keybord.
I bet it will be very interesting keyboard, maby for the fwe month it wont be sold very good, but i am pretty shure that people after 3-4 month will begin to buy it, maby not like hot cakes but probably the selles will be decent.
p.s.But speaking what is going on now, i think Korg did a very stupid mistake not to make a 76 version with synth action keys, i mean i don't say that they had better to make it instid of weithed version which is right now. What I am saying thay had to make two versions with synth action and with piano action.
Also by the way i know that in the past some manufactors offered a double action keybord, which means that with a push of the button, the keys can become synth or piano action. But i am not shure if Korg will be claever anought to offer such keys with a double action keybord, but i am pretty shure it will be extremly cool idie and if they will do, they will get succes with it
