Kontrol49 Out B

Hey folks
I use an all hardware setup so my Kontrol49 is DC power with midi cable connection to everything. I understand the Out B connector works as a midi thru, but as I cant for the life of me find any reason to plug anything into the MIDI In on the Kontrol49 this goes unused.
I have a couple pieces of hardware that have no thru, so being able to send the same data from midi Out A and Out B would be veeeeery useful, and then it would make sense calling it Out B and not Thru lol.
Is there any way to do this? I cant find anything in my manual. Thanks in advacen
