Syncing MS2000b with a drum machine/sequencers

So basically I want to use my MS2000b in unison with a Roland MC-303 (groove-box) and a BOSS DR-770 (Dr. Rhythm). I have had mild success using the boss and Roland sequencers to trigger the ms2000 but I'm wondering if i can use midi to synch up the tempos to all 3 of them. One example of something id like to do is use a latched arpeggio on the korg and when the key is pressed have the drum machine and groove box start up automatically (in tempo). BTW I currently have no access to any computer based audio workstations. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

1 has to be the tempo master, and the others sync to it. Your MC-303 has 8-track sequencer, so I assume you want it to be the master. Hook up midi out from your groove box over to the drum machine and to the MS2000. Use midi out from groovebox to midi in on drum machine, then midi thru on drum machine to midi in on MS2000. Using midi thru on drum machine means only tempo and stuff from the master is going to MS2000, not notes and such from the drum machine.

Set tempo/bpm send on the groove box and revieve on the others. On some gear, not only do you set send/recieve on the tempo, but also on start/stop messages, so turn that on as well if you need to. Now send something down midi chain from groovebox to the other units. Most gear has a LED light that indicates if midi is coming through. Note that for arp to trigger on MS2000, the midi clock needs to be going on the master, so just hitting a note on the groovebox's mini keypad may not be enough, make sure the sequencer is playing as well so tempo is sent to MS2000 and the arp will trigger. The latched arp should work fine, but trigger it from the master groovebox instead of from the MS2000.
