Hi all!
I am using my Kp3 for years now, but i still dont know what is the difference of these two loop modes which can selected in the message menu.
The pictures in the update manual dont make sense to me and i also cant really notice any difference while using
Can somebody wise me up, please?
Thanks!

Best regards

The difference between the loop modes is that you have :
The loop continues to play whether the bank button is highlighted or not.
The loop plays only when you hold the button (still goes on iin background)
The loop starts from beginning when you press the bank button
The loop plays from beginning every time you press and hold button

The functionality of pressing/depressing versus holding down the bank is largely a matter of personal preference and what style you're after. But types 1 and 3 which determine whether the loop continuously plays or restarts after pressing the bank is more important, as that determines how your samples sync up.

hi roblabs!

Thanks for your fast reply :)
Wouldt be really shameful not to know about the trigger modes espacially because i use the kp3 since years
I asked about loop modes (message menu shift + 4) but i guess you have this mixed up with sample trigger modes. (shift + bank)

I've read again and agian the documentation, but I've never been able to understand clearly the difference betweeen the two loop modes.
After reading your post, I turned my eyes agin on it and it continues to be totally unclear. It looks like Type2 should be more "in rythm" I think.
