AUDIO INS on back of the M3

I wonder why this doesnt work.
i plugged 1/4 unbalanced cables from a synth into the back of the M3 audio ins. NOTHING. no sound from it.
anyone ever do this?
or know about it

the unit works great
why would it be broken

I suspect that the Audio Inputs' Bus Select is set to OFF. You'll need to set up the audio inputs to be routed through the M3's signal chain. You can do this individually for each program or combi, or you can set it up globally. Let's go with doing it globally:

So, go into GLOBAL mode, and touch the Audio tab. In the Bus Select column, select L/R for both inputs. Play external keyboard and adjust levels, if required.

Now, when you are in program or combi mode, you should check to see if the "Use Global Settings" checkbox is ticked in the Sampling/Audio In tab.
