Make sure you set the global midi channels different on both.

I have a Pa3X connected to my OASYS.

What would you like to know ?
There's really nothing to setup, just plug in, sync and go.....

For me it's a very powerful tool to allow me to quickly lay down complete backing tracks into the OASYS sequencer from the Pa3X, which I then rework on the OASYS alone.

Regards
Sharp.

Thank you for your answers.

Of course first its a chaining with midi cables.
Gathering your answers :
The arranger PAX3 doesn't have a sequencer itself.
The midi information of the arranger can be sent to the workstation.
In that case the arranger is the master and the workstation the slave.

open question
The global midi channel must be different.
What is a global midi channel ?
And how to set it
In the kronos, and in the PAX3 ?

"The arranger PAX3 doesn't have a sequencer itself. "

That's not correct. PAX3 has the best sequencer among the arranger keyboards.

Yes it still confuse. Im just trying for the moment to discover the kronos. I had, long time ago a Roland XP50, and the progress is hugged !
But I never worked with an arranger.
I just was thinking to have an instrument to help orchestration of my compositions.
With 2 synthesizers its easy but between a workstation and an arranger it still confused.

The only reason you would use Kronos with the Pa3X is to combine the quality of the sounds in Kronos with the arrangements from Pa3X.
