Kaossillator Pro froze!! first time ever...

hey all
i was playing a gig, and it was one of those real doomsday scenarios anyway, sound was crap, i was right beside the main speaker so every time i tried laying down a loop layer i was just adding more and more feedback...
just as nothing else could go wrong, my KOP crashed, or froze, no response from touch pad or buttons. i turned it off and on again and after what seemed like an eternity it booted up and was grand. but worrying because the idea of hardware is surely stability
so i'm wondering if this has ever happened anyone else?
