I gotta dig this one up from the dead a little bit here. I own an EMX and was hoping to record samples with it somehow. It's got a mic/line input and the ability to record, so whats the problem? My ES-! was able to sample fialr y easily and I was hoping I could do the same with my EMX. I really don't have the money to spend on an ESX. IS there NO way to sample with a mic using the EMX?

Learn what something does before you get it, scrub. Take a guess what the "S" in ES-1 and ESX stands for... We live in an age where nearly any question you could ever have is laid out before you just by entering a few keywords, so there's no excuse to be so damn dumb now, is there? Try research sometime, it's actually faster and easier than registering for a forum and getting chewed out for being a clown.

There's no way to sample with an EMX1. It's not a sampler, period.
