Ouch.

So, does it boot up okay? You don't have anything connected except your power and output lead(s)?

How can anyone slam this synth?

OMG, sure its a little brittle in the top end on the VAS but it sounds better up high than any VAs out.

Sync sounds are the best VA syncs i have ever heard.

The atmospheric stuff mod 7 and str-1 does is breath taking and worth the price of the synth alone.

The synth sounds are great, not the fattest but sit in the mix great so far. WOW.

We know

The al1 is almost aliasing free, that one is incredible in the top end.

Congratulations with your kronos!

By far my favorite synth ever so far.

It does everything well and then some. No other synth covers this ground this well.

This blows the ti2 out of the water and its cheaper.

The pianos are absoultly fantastic to crazy fedilety on the piano engine. It's like the poor mans grand piano except you get so many of them at once lol.

Pianos are great, but i am a synth guy, and this more than makes me happy, this is the ultimate texture synth of all time, ambient freaks should buy this for that alone.

Congratulations Helix !
I told you that the AL1 is really a beast as an VA engine !
And recall what I said about the sub OSC and the OSC detuning + phase shifting.
Try it you will see that the fatness is there !

:D

Cheers

The mod 7 is the best.

Hands down, wow. A fm synth with al1 filters and snappy envs and tons of modulations, it makes the best of anything WOW.

What people fail to get is the level of preset programming you get with a synth like this, i buy software, a lot of it, and none of it has the texture or detail or movement in sound that these programs do, omnisphere only wishes it was this lush or polished sounding. Alchemy too, not even close.

No way in hell is any software worth the money or as good as this.

Even the ms20 and polysix, the presets are amazing compared to the legacy vsts. The vsts don't even come close to sounding as good or animated.

I paid 2350 for mine, it is mint, like new seriously amazing. a 61 key. Man this out shines my software so bad.

Tyrel nexus 6 and diva do compliment this thing very well, so would a boom star synth.

Yup, i am selling all my VAs, virus, and plugiator.

Will keep my microx because it has good combies i dont have on the kronos.

Actually a poor mans piano is buying a midi controller.. then buying Akoustic Piano or Alicia's Keys Piano from Native Instruments.. And it CRUSHES the Kronos Piano.. :P HAHA CRUSHES..

and yeah it takes a long time to load, and takes for ever to switch patches..

The kronos smashes anything as an expressive instrument.

I do both piano and synth, so am really looking forward to getting the Kronos . . . hopefully, best of both worlds in one board!

I didn't like Akoustic Piano at all. Alicia's Keys has a specific sound that works in some cases, and not at all in others. Personally I prefer the Kronos piano.
