Relacement ESX Slider in UK (part number / code )

Has anyone here ever had to replace he slider pot inside an ESX?
mine just stopped working this week. I have had the unit apart, checked for bad solder, cleaned the traces etc...nothing...no value on a multimeter while adjusting the slider position.
if anyone knows if there is an equiverlant part thought maplin ,digikey or some such...that would be wonderful.
or failing that if anyone has info on a uk parts center or service manual?
