Kronos verdict

Post by min »

I tryed a Kronos 61 note again today. Here is my verdict. Diverse, large sound pallete to choose from and edit, pianos ok (if you can't find one you like you're too fussy). 61 key is still quite heavy so might as well bite the bullet and get 73 key considering small price difference. Touch screen makes editing easy unlike my korg microstation where you have to dig down into pages just to change volume of tracks. 16 audio tracks a big plus although I wonder if I'd use or just use logic for audio recording...still can't deny it's handy. Yes the keys are really squared off and long but that didn't bother me. Here is really what bothered me. When i listened to various preset patches some patches wouldn't realease (note off) and sounds were stuck and held forever. No it wasn't that the arppegiator was looping. Some sounds got stuck! Can anyone advise on this?
