KAOSS Pad 3 or KAOSSILATOR Pro? Help :)

Post by Laryssa »

Hallo!
I use a vocal processor looper BOSS VE-20 for live performances and impro's.
It's a really nice game with 30 different effects on vocals but the loop is kind of limited: you've 38 seconds loop on just one channel. It means that you can only keep on building up loops and you're not able to pause them but you can only stop.
I'd like to be able to record sounds (not only vocals) from outside through a microphone and process them through something like the Kaoss pad 3 and produce then completely different sounds and I also would like to create more elaborated loop (using maybe different channel of loop).
I was checking on the kp3 and ko pro and I doubt on what would be better for me.
Any advice?
Thanks

if you want to loop and add effects to external sounds: kp3
if you want to loop, with a few less options, and have 200 built in drums, synths, vocoder, and basses that you can live loop: kaossilator pro

kp3 has way more as a looper and effects, kpro is like a little production unit with 4 loop banks

both only allow you up to 16 beats, and you only get 16 above 108.5 bpm on the kpro....you get 16 down to like 75 bpm on the kp3
