Just one little complain

Is it possible to complain about complains?, lol, i feel like i am in a kindergarden sometimes haha, "my screen is not good", "the os takes a lot of time to boot", "i don't like other synths", "i bought my kronos yesterday, will i get the X?" , "korg is bad because i want a free update of hardware since they released a new kronos"... " i want to cry"...

haha really guys, i am only 22 and i don't cry that much, use common sense, this is a really friendly forum, although a lot people thinks that all the requests (even some that are incredible) must be attended...

If you bought a Kronos without testing it you have to take chances, if you test it and bought it then you should knew what you were buying...

Sorry for my english, it's not my native lenguage... And by the way, Smile more!!!

I don't like bugs and problems, and i like the optimizing, what i am saying is that a lot people complains mostly for hardware improvements on a device that they already bought and test, it's ok to complain but the ammount of posts about it "are to damm high" ... i would like to get some updates o OS but i am not crying about it, i already knew what i was buying when i got my Kronos, and i didn't had the time to test it, i live in Costa Rica, i bought it via amazon and was shipped to Costa Rica, but we have internet, yes we have, and i did a research before i bought the K...

Well it seems the amount of posts about that is big because many people want that upgrades? I don't know because I don't know them all!?

And yes it's true, if you buy a Kronos you will get what Korg tells you on their webside? Your editor for examples works very good or? And of course they told you about the RH3 problem before you bougth the Kronos, too?

And if you did a research, where did you found your informations? If people in forums wouldn't "cry", there would be less information there, or?

Hmm ... so now the big question is, why visiting a forum ??

EDIT:

And why talking about that - let's only smile!

There's nothing wrong with "discussing" the bugs and problems. It's the overly aggressive complaining, whining, and expectation that Korg should hand everything out for free that bogs down these otherwise fantastic forums.

I interpret the "Smile more!" comment as not telling people to just ignore the problems, but to relax, discuss them in a productive way, and enjoy the music making power of this incredible machine that Korg provided us. Does it have it's problems? Sure, but nothing in this world is perfect. Korg pays attention to what is being said here and I guarantee that respectful discussion is much better received than angry ranting.

Well, I think a good mix would be the best?

If I would find a forum where 500 Threads tell me:

"Thank you Korg"
"I love you Korg"
...

it would be boring or? If I want to read that, I can read the marketing reviews of a product?

And you should empathize with "whining" people, too! Perhaps they have reasons to do that? Not everybody only puts the Kronos on and is happy because it has a good piano in it ...

For me, much whining ... is a sign for problems and it preserves me for buying such a product ... and look, now Korg briings up an enhanced Kronos X for the whining people!

I visit this forum to learn more about my Kronos. It's such a powerful machine that I can't possibly learn it all on my own. There are some amazing people on these forums who generously share their knowledge and create fantastic tutorial videos. You can ask a question about the Kronos and usually get an answer within minutes.

I've learned about other equipment that people are using with their Kronos. Synths that pair up well, or provide sounds that Kronos doesn't. Live and studio sound equipment. Powered speakers vs. Keyboard Amps vs. In Ear Monitoring. There's a wealth of great info in here.

I love listening to the music that people create and share on these forums. I also enjoy checking out peoples live and studio rigs in the "show us your Kronos" thread.

These are the things that make this a community. Even respectfully discussing the bugs and problems adds to the community. That's why I visit this forum.

Yes, and that's the reason I'm visiting this forum, too! And yes, here are very great musicians and helpful users!

But sorry, what I don't like is, if people won't be realistic!

The Kronos has good parts and very bad parts and that's the truth or? And a forum should be a place, where both parts are smooth presented for users which think about to buy a Kronos, too!

Sometimes people didn't really explore their Kronos and only use it for playing some of the great sounds ... but they think they know all of that machine ...

I'm with you:

Fair and good discussion is the goal! But to reach that goal has two sides!

I have no problem with people discussing the problems with the Kronos. I watched those threads very closely while I was saving up for my Kronos. So, I do understand the need for that info on these forums. However, even then, I got tired of sifting through all of the knee jerk reaction, angry posts to get to the quality discussions.

I think we're both saying the same thing here though. The Kronos does have it's faults and discussion is a good thing that will hopefully help people make educated decisions and lead to improvements.
