Integrating Kronos In Your DAW

Post by karimsawad »

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum. I'm a proud Kronos owner, and I use a lot of its programs in my Music, here's my latest piece of work which I'm currently working on:

I'm really looking forward to make new friends here, share experiences about Korg how-to's, share sounds, etc...

God bless!

Welcome to the forum. I enjoyed watching your video. Surprised that you don't have click activated, for recording, but I guess there's already enough rhythm going. What version of Cubase are you using?

Thanks a lot really glad you liked the video,

I'm currently using Cubase 5 with the Kronos as an audio interface via Asio4All, but I should upgrade to Cubase 6.5 soon...

Hi Karim,
I listened to another song of yours called "Talal Kontar"? I didn't understand a word, but i liked the arrangement a lot. Great song indeed!

Hi Karim,

Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting your video!
I use Cubase 5 as well with the Kronos audio running via Asio4All.
Not sure if I will upgrade to Cubase 6.5 though.
Any major benefits that will give me?

Well I'm upgrading mainly to unleash 64 bit which I never got to use properly yet... And I also heard 6.5 has better audio processing and functionality...

I also checked out the 2nd video that followed the synth piece. Both songs were quite good although totally different styles of music. Keep up the good work. :)

Hi Karim,
Excellent work.
The "Talal Kontar" piece is a great and very expressive musical and vocal piece. I liked it very much.

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers.

A big thanks for you guys for liking my work! I'm also looking forward to listen to yours as well!

By the way I have a bit of a problem with converting MIDI to Audio, when I convert synth sounds and pads (higher frequencies) it sounds good, but whenever I convert low frequency sounds (kick, bass) I start hearing a certain metallic sound with the converted audio, and it shows more and more after mastering... I'm using the Kronos as an audio interface via Asio4All, did anyone experience something alike?

Unfortunately I don't. Assyrian and Farsi (Persian) are the only Middle Eastern languages that I know.

Not really, I used to have a Yamaha Audiogram 6 but the pre-amp on Kronos and the complete output in general are way better so I started using it...
