Just discovered something awesome on the KO-2!
Fans of the KO-1 know that the 16-beat mode was awesome because of the added length and also because you could switch your beat length on the fly to create some DJ-like cuts and it would "save" the cut, making it part of the loop.
On the KO-2, I was dismayed to find that you could do a beat-length change on the fly, but it would not save the cut to the loop.
HOWEVER! I just found out that if you modify the loop (deleting a millisecond of it, adding silence through L.23 Tell Min), the remainder of the loop is "editable" or affected by any cuts, etc!
So if you make a beat, go to L.23 Tell Min and just tap the bottom, then quickly change your loop length on the fly (By holding I or II and scrolling with the touch stripe, then scrolling back to 8 ), it will keep the cutting that you just heard!
This is huge for me, I would use the cutting effect on most of my tracks. Hope you guys get some use out of it.

I can speak English, but being new to this I am not 100% certain what and how you are doing there.
A vid would be awesome...
Though they are a pain, so understand why that is unlikely.
Can you tell me if I am on the right path:
1. on KO-1 you could change beat length on the fly (so 8-16 and back when you want)
2. You could have the first part of the loop (say 8 beats) doing a loop and the second part with another layer or less layers.
3. By switching between the different parts of the loop you are effectively adding new parts to loops whenever you want. Like a DJ cutting in another beat
4. You can't do this in KO2
5. There is a sort of work around in KO2 to get the same effect (but still at 8 beats??)
6. I don't understand how the work around works though as it seems complicated!!!!

Haha sorry guys!
I'll try explain it better.
To explain what I mean by "beat cutting"
On your KO-2, make a song in say 8 beats on Bank I for example.
Now once it's done, hold the BANK I button and scroll with the plus/minus bar
.
You'll see you can go to down 4 beats, 2 beats, 1 beat etc or even 1/16th of a beat. Try a quick scroll and see what 1/2 or 1/4 beat does to your song, it's kind of a stutter sound.
All the while holding the BANK I button, you can then scroll back to 8 beats and resume your normal song.
Recording the beat cutting
I discovered that when you add or delete something on an 8-beat loop - if you do the beat cutting before the loop is finished - it will save it.
So, if i made a simple beat, added a short trumpet sound and then quickly held the Bank button and scrolled to 1/4 beat and then quickly back to 8, it would keep the stuttering effect in the loop even after i returned the beat count to 8!
You can do this after adding any instrument but i suggest "adding" silence which can be found at the bottom of L.23 Tell Min. It's still technically adding something to the loop but since you can't hear it, it changes nothing - allowing you to do a quick DJ-style beat cut and resume your song with the cut on loop.

There are multiple uses for this too, not just adding a 1/4 or 1/2 beat stuttering sound.
If you have an 8-beat song but you really like the last 2 beats of it and want those repeated for another 2, you can do the beat cutting trick and scroll to 2-Beat Length right after your desired 2 beats, let it play and then scroll back to 8-Beats and you will have successfully cut and edited your song on the fly.
It sounds more complicated than it is, it's in fact very simple.
