Kronos as a MIDI Controller

Post by methusala »

I put a similar post on the Oasys forum but no takers yet. Does anyone use the Kronos for this or use an external controller and if so, which one?

I'm ok when I get to the music. The Oasys 88 sees to that.

Hi, i have the nanokontro2 but nothing was prepared to drive the kronos
with this controller, only DAW,so you have to dive in the midi mystics and
use midioxse to reveil what the kronos send or receive 8)

Dniss,

Thank you for putting me onto the earler excellant thread. I must use the 'search' facility here far more often. I'm probably not making myself clear. I was thinking more on the lines of using a Mackie or Tascam unit as opposed to a nano etc or other keyboard controller when it comes to integrating with a DAW--all in place of the K's sliders and for using cc1 etc etc

Am I right round the bend? [answers on a postcard please]

If i understand you,you have to deal with control change data, like vol, pan,
mute...e,G:vol is cc#7 & pan is cc#10,is it right?
