My videos are for sharing and for "fun"

Hi everyone!
So I received what I felt was a really unnecessary critique of my KRONOS Guitar Effector video on youtube stating that I "blew an opportunity" to make a good video and other disparaging remarks. This person even went as far to tell me that I should make my videos like another person on this forum (who IS a KRONOS programming expert - I'm always impressed with his videos). Two completely separate and negative comments this guy decided to write. Critiquey boy has since been blocked and reported.
I want to make myself clear on this forum.
I have enjoyed making fun videos for my personal KRONOS keyboard discoveries. The very first video I made over a year ago - I clearly stated that I am not showing anyone how to program the Kronos - I'm not doing that - BECAUSE I'M A GUITAR PLAYER - HAVING FUN!! What is funny, is that I have one video explaining the process of how I process my nylon string guitar through the KRONOS, and it got the least amount of hits - which is fine, but I still wanted to show the process. The comments from the KRONOS community have been fun, inspiring and most of all, have shown me a sincere appreciation for my time.
So if you are a guitar player who has some great KRONOS tips - please share!!! I'm just having fun. I'm a big boy and I can certainly take a hit, but seriously - don't come at me with insults. This very same person could have simply asked me to do another video asking me to explain >>in further detail<< etc., and I would have complied - like I did for my uber buddy Yuma.
I'm just guitar player with a KRONOS - that's it!
Next video - Kronos + Guitar Synth + KARMA + Guitar w/efx = "THROWDOWN!"

After the Tapladder video, I don't see how anyone could dare to undermine your contributions and work ethic.

Dude, your a what? You mean you actually play a guitar. I just fake on some keyboard.
Don't let the losers get to you.
I watch videos for the same reason you make them, TOO HAVE FUN. Learning is a bonus, and your videos spark my interest.
Keep up the good work.

Hi Jamsire,
I wouldn't worry to much if i were you. Personally i enjoy your videos very much because i like videos where people are enthusiastic about the things they do. And you are a creative guy, so keep up the good work.
i create kronos videos too, and i also get these kind of remarks sometimes. I don't really care about those things, i know people can have different agenda's when posting negative things about the thing i do. I've seen it all, messages like:
- people saying that Brand X sound much better
- that i need to learn to play
- that my sounds are bad
- that i fake the video's because it's impossible to create such sounds with one synth (i really liked that message by the way hehehe)
- and much more...
it's youtube and you can expect these kind of things. Most of the time i've got these kind of messages through the private message system and not as a remark on my videos. But i just throw them away and go on with the things i do.
But i understand that it's sometimes a little bit discouraging when you spent time on creating a video. But in fact you should be happy because that means that people are finding your channel and the more people find your channel, the more people will have an opinion about it. It doesn't always have to be positive, also from the negative comments sometimes you can learn things. When you don't agree with the comment then simply ignore it or delete it
For instance in the beginning i got some critical comments about the text over the videos, the fact that i didn't use a stylus and that the screens were hard to read. Now i spent a lot of time on the videos but in reality, these guys were right, so i saw this as positive criticism and changed those things in the videos from that moment on. And the videos were getting better by this feedback. So sometimes you can actually use those comments in a positive way
So don't worry about this too much, every youtube user experiences things like this, we like your video's and just keep creating them for the people like us that are enjoying the work you do.

I 100% agree with Qui. It's great to see people enthousiastically dig into something to figure out how stuff works. For example the way you helped me with the Korg PadKONTROL. That was really awesome and helpful and you even didn't give up until you had figured it out completely.
So best to ignore whiners on the internet who can only be destructive instead of constructive. Just do what you like and enjoy making your video's. Constructive people will enjoy your video's.

I want to thank you all for your replies.
The posts irked me (for some odd reason) because the poster was just rude, as if I charged him for something and he felt ripped-off.
Truth be told, I am just grateful to be able to contribute - something - to the forum of this advanced keyboard.
Thank you all again. I'm serious, my next video will be completely foolish.

First - your videos are great fun
Second - they are inspiring. I had to pull my Godin off my GR-55 and plug into the Kronos the minute I watch you doing some of that stuff!
Let's face it, a sad fact of human beings is the ones that tend to post are the ones that want to complain and moan. It is interesting I started watching this forum (IA) back in about 2000 when I got my triton - then kinda left until my Kronos. And you know what, a lot of the posts are exactly the same - complaining about things that can't be changed, whining about things that nobody wants to hear. Slamming people.
Fact is if they don't like it - they don't have to watch

Sorry dude - this post made me laugh when you wrote about the complaining! Thanks for your support and the kind words.

I'd simply ignore any negative comments.
Doesn't matter how good/outstanding something is, there's always a few people who will slag it off and tick the dislike.

As a midi guitar player your videos made me get a Kronos, you can't get more positive than that!
Keep up the good work Mate

Jasmire, you don't need our sympathy. You are talented, creative and a sharing kind of guy.
The person who wrote the negative comment on Youtube, needs all the sympathy, because they have little appreciation of, probably everything and are missing out on a fulfilled life.
Keep enjoying Jasmire, don't let the ba***rds get you down.

Ummmm....dude...Jas.....that troll is a loser. You are the real deal who has true cred on these boards. Next time you get a troll post like that, if it really bugs....then call him out up on these boards (better yet, ignore the slob). I'd be happy to take a shot at him for/with you! Some crap like that is inevitable. But don't ever give your contributions here a second thought. They rock!
