On the Kronos you have pads but the are not velocity sensitive so would a Korg PadKontrol be any good to use to replace them :?:

If you're just interested in replacing the on screen Karma pads the Nanopad(2) is cheaper and fits on your Kronos. At least it does on my 88.

The Nanopad seems to have poor feedback on Youtube people complaining that the PADS don't work very well

Now it has positive feedback on Korgforums that it does work well.

I'm puzzled; the onscreen pads are velocity sensitive. Touching the pad on the screen towards the top increases the volume, lower down decreases the volume - unless the 'Fixed Velocity' tab is enabled.

Yes that's right but it is not same as a single velocity senitve pad which is easy to use that was on my M3. :)

I have my M3 set up next to my Kronos. The NanoPad 2 is hooked up to my Kronos via the included USB cable. To me personally, the NanoPad Pads feel very similar to the M3 Pads. I also have no issues with the NanoPad 2. It has worked flawlessly right out of the box.

What am I missing? :? I can't imagine any space on the Kronos 61 to put a nanopad. I also have the M3-73 and Kronos 61.

I don't have mine set up "on" the Kronos. Mine is situated on a shelf slightly above it next to my monitor but still comfortably within reach. I thought about trying it one side of my M3-73 but the USB cable that comes with it isn't long enough. I could buy a longer USB cable I suppose. I've heard of people "velcroing" their NanoPads to the top of their Kronos but I don't want to goo it up like that personally.

Mine fits on top of my 88. Keep it on the right hand side, my Ventilator is on the left. It's relatively stable there, but I guess I could use a little dashboard anti slip mat/pad or something.
