Wack Factory Combis

Post by SV1200 »

Everyone seems to be complaining about something, so I thought I'd join in. :D Does anyone think the factory combis are really bad? They seem so much worse then past korg workstations, they are way to busy, and karma is flying every which way, sometimes they arnt even the slightest musical. Doesn't seem like they put much thought into them honestly. I make my own, but sometimes like to start with a preset one then change it every which way, tough to find good ones IMO. What do you guys think?

hard to please everyone in the universe instantly.

if the combi uses 8 or more programs, Karma patterns might be attached to most of them, giving the combi alot of movement or accompaniment.

Simply turn off the Karma patterns on the program , where it doesn't fit for you.

Or go to Global and turn off Karma for all sounds, switching on at program/combi level when you want it.

Well some are good and some are not so good
for me the drag is that those combis are the same
combis loaded in the OASIS,

I bought a new workstation (kronos) with old sounds
kind of a rip off, now we have to pay extra for new
sounds.

you always have the option of making your own. And there are tons of free sounds floating around.
