Weird behavior in progeam mode

I loaded a new patch in a location (A008 to be precise) with a synth sound.
the weird thing is that initially everything works fine but if I change sound and then come back to the A008 it doesn't sound but....if I press the edit button in order to modify it, it sounds again.

Anybody experienced similar problem?

Only thing I can think of could explain this is that the loaded sound references a multisample not found in the Trinity's ROM and that pressing 'edit' automatically selects a default wave that would then activate the sound. That could be because you're loading a TR-Rack voice (the ROM is slightly different) or a .pcg that references something found on a sample option.

I've seen similar behavior for programs and combis that are looking for MOSS voices, for unloaded samples or for uninstalled EXB boards (in the case of Triton).

That was the first thing that came in my mind, but I solved simply by modifying the sound, I slightly changed the value of one of the effects, saved and overwritten it and now it works.

No idea why it was not working.

Possibly a glitch in someone else's editing software set up a value higher than the acceptable parameter range ("Yeah, but, y'know... this one... it goes to eleven")

Happy to hear you got it working.
