And on the OASYS it's the “Function” button.

OASYS users will get this.
The 'off switch' .
If your keyboard is off now, you used it as much as the "on" switch(unless you have a software problem)

LOL - so true; can honestly say I've never used it. Not once - well, there might have been the once; just out of curiosity!

Now that you mention it, I don't think I've ever used the 'Sampling Rec', 'Sequencer: Pause', 'Control Assign: EXT', nor 'Solo' buttons.

I'm going to go and press them now just for good measure..

SW-2 now that I think about it. About the only time I ever use it is if i need the extra higher octave on my piano.

Man, tell me about it!! And in some menus there seems to be near a thousand GM drum kits between 2 interesting drum kits, because of that Bank-1 G button.

the numeric keypad, very seldom, I usually just dial in the value. Although, while I don't event edit much or step sequence, I did find myself editing numeric values the other day, probably the 2nd or 3rd time I've sequencing something in the last year. I was edit event in the event window for a bass line, maybe I should have quantized my input (playing) instead, better yet, I should have just played (practiced) the part better.
