Fade in - Fade out in sequencer mode?

Post by Niblit »

Sorry to keep posting questions but I'm off this week and doing a lot of work on my kronos.

My next question is this...
Is there an easy way to record a fade in or out to all tracks at the same rate in sequencer mode?

I know this can be done by exporting to a computer and editing the WAV file, but I like to do things on board the K if possible.

FORGET IT, I've just figured it out..
Create and finish a sequence then go to Audio In/Sampling and chose "bounce all tracks to disk" from the menu. Then while the the system is recording the result from your sequence, simply adjust the recording level manually to achieve the desired fade out.

SIMPLES

I'm pretty sure you can record the master fader movement while still in sequence mode.

Thanks Lou, I was thinking of trying that method, but having spent the entire day recording my latest masterpiece, I was a little hesitant about doing anything that could mess it up. Mind you, I had saved the sequence anyway so I guess I could have taken the chance.

I'll try to experiment with my next track. (After I've beaten off all the several hundred fans trying to break my front door down).

Oops, no that's not fans...
That's my neighbours suffering from ear ache
