yes, i bought it yesterday (it has a 50% discount now).

They did an outstanding job, the app has 2 polysix synths and an analog style drum machine with their own stepsequencers. Every synth knob can be automated with a small step sequencer. It's a really impressive app.

also soundcloud integration is included for uploading your tracks.

Great app!

very nice demo:

So how long will it be before they release the IKronos?

Or, a dedicated sequencer app that links directly to Kronos. Created by Korg, For Kronos.... I'd pay a few quid for that

I w'd like an IMotif with a Karma on top, if you please..., but the IPolysix will do nicely
thanx

So now you have two Polysixes and more.

One is extremely portable.

I read the reviews on the app on iTunes - apparently it does not support CoreMIDI? External controllers work, but only the Korg Nano series via the camera kit? That's a bit of a "fail" in my book if that's the case.

Any plans for an Android version?

Trying to replicate the polysix patches from the Kronos to ipolysix. It's pretty close when I match the parameters and run the iPad through the Kronos' effects but the sounds are not identical.

I'd like to hear a comparison!

Works just fine using USB midi to the Kronos. Transmits audio as well using the same cable. What did you want to do with it?

The way I interpreted it was that standard midi controllers would not work with it. This would be a thoughtful addition to my super-portable iPad and Axiom rig. Can you confirm it works with other class-compliant USB controllers?

It worked with my Kronos and SV1. Only note data, pitch bend and mod wheel data were received though none of the other cc's seem to be detected by ipolysix, not even sustain.

A comparison between the iPolysix iPad app and the Korg Kronos iPolysix-Ex. Parameters on the iPolysix were copied from select Polysix-Ex patches in the Kronos. The ipad is connected to the Kronos via USB and is running through the Kronos using its insert effects. The first sounds played are from the ipad followed by the Kronos.
