So I was sat at my piano with my friend who plays the good old fashioned 5 piece drum kit and my mate with his Brand new Elec Guitar and my other friend who is learning with his acoustic. We have a few chords in our minds and a simple melody.
We are in my old cellar and as we get into the music, to our surprise the violin quartet from college walk down the steps, curious and tired after a Concerto from hell.......... Having seen the scribbled chords on the cigarette packet they one by one set up and join our song. They love it.
We're are all in the groove but we need a bit more, were going somewhere and as the music takes hold, the quartet becomes an orchestra and Mr Wakeman joins us on the final chorus, it's a fantasy, a dream come true.............................then............I wake up, and it's just me, my Kronos and 16 midi tracks.................
