Someone created a thread for the KP3+ vs KP3 so I thought the KO Pro+ needs one too.

Out side of the obvious new sounds / programs and new lights that have been added what are the new differences in the KO Pro+?

Were new updates to dealing with Midi? Did we get anything we wanted?

seems like the only midi updates are to control banks with a foot pedal...

Where did you hear that one? Did you mean that now the loop banks can be controled by a CC instead of midi note?

Yeah Bowmoney was being sarcastic...there is no new features in the midi.

I can't wait till all the download content for the Plus to show up on the Korg site for this...then we will really know what is new and what is old.

no i',m serious...i read somewhere that an update to the kp3 and kpro allow controlling foot banks with midi...

Both pads have been taking midi foot switches since they have been conceived.

Still good sarcasm.

But seriously the only way there could be any major change in relationship to "foot switches" is if the A B C D button can be switched to receiving midi CC instead of midi Note, that would be something.

i wasn't being sarcastic...i don't know what to say...i read somewhere that they have updated the midi connections to help deal with operating the banks with a foot switch...take it or leave it

All right all right I'll take your word for it.

Seriously I thought you're being funny. Think about it:

That is just funny. We have been able to do this for a long time...so now we can use foot switches?!?! Okay...

I guess to me the only way there could be a change in the midi communication of the loop banks if we can make the banks receive CC# values not just midi note values.

i bet they upped the sample rate too, for a cleaner, sharper sound, a la the iKaossilator. probably 44.1k or 48k versus 32k, but that's just a guess. don't hold me to it.
