M3 Sequencer NOT Loading Saved Songs Correctly...

So I'm having mainly issues with my M3, i use the Sequence on the M3 to record the base of my song...then just transfer over to the 32XD.

Well, the other night i was recording onto the sequencer and all of the sudden the sequence froze up and just held the last note i played, nothing would work/change etc.

I ended up having to restart. I went to the Media section to load the previous song i was working on...and while my NEWER songs would load fine, i found that my OLDER ones would load, but all of the sounds were scrambled, many of them read "User 16"...most had no drums but instead had an instrument in the place of the drums...horrible sound to say the least.

I messed around and kept loading different ones to see which were working and which weren't, finally found one that was semi-old that worked...so i went back to the beginning to see if the old ones would now work...and, they DID. I thought great, it reset it self.

Well NOW only the oldest (maybe the first 20) of my songs will load properly, all the others are now scrambled! And even if i set up to record a new song on the Sequencer, after saving, when i go to reload it scrambles it as well!

...Help, suggestions, ideas please? I NEED to have my keyboard working.

"User 16" sounds like the name of a Category which in itself shouldn't affect the sound since it's just a category name. But I also assume the program is changing. Do you see some pattern like the same program number but different bank or is it completely different. For example, is it bank INT-A076 before but bank USER=G076 after saving/reloading?

Maybe if there is a pattern you can track down what is happening. You could also try to reload the PCG file and see if that corrects the problem.

Its just User 16 on some..on others it has regular sounds but they are all in the wrong spaces and arent even suppose to be in the combination to begin with.

Id love to do some sort of a system reset if possible, could you tell me how i would go about that?

In Global mode select Load Preload/Demo Data from the menu. Then choose All (Preload PCG and Demo Songs) and press OK.

This reloads all PCG (program, combination, drum kit, global setting, RADIAS Formant Motion Data: if the EXB-RADIAS is installed) data and demo song data.
