88 key keybed....what has happened

When "recalibrating" the keybed, you must be very careful to get equal separation between every single key and the front base. Otherwise, you may find that those noises will be solved for some notes, but may appear in other notes.
And yes, I also think the quality of the keybed is big crap. I've actively participated on the threads about this issue. After 3 Kronos I had (88 keys), I got the last one fixed but waited months for that. And this "recalibration" thing is annoying, but required. I've even faced issues where some keys need more force to be pressed. "Luckyly", those issues have been solved by applying the solution I pointed out.
This was his response.
"It needs new felt and that requires a full disassembly of every key. "
3 week turn around. This guy has done awesome work for me in the past!
Do they ever "pad" the work? Like some auto service shops? I would like to think not but it was just a thought. I would suggest a second opinion on the work needed. Your guy might be the most honest in the world but since it is such an invasive operation, one that could affect the Keybed it self, a second opinion might be warranted from Korg, maybe?

Plus we have rating services like Yelp which is highly consumer oriented.
If the prices seem high, its because its more specialized and not a commodity
service like an auto service shop. Often, comparisons and analogies are not apples to apples.
