it should be okay, BUT check in Sounds to make sure it has not been usurped as the "default" output sound for Windows OS....thereby making Sonar think it is unavailable...

Yes, WASAPI should be in Shared (not Exclusive) mode.

I currently still use Asio4All in combination with CuBase 5.
How do I switch to using WASAPI?

Hi folks, I tried the share thing in windows sounds but did not work. I think it is a driver issue with the Firepod as it is a few years old and maybe does not support Wasapi. Presonus forums have posts with complaints about this. Was on hold for 1 hour with presonus tech support and no one picked up. Not happy! If I ever get this working will the audio out from the DAW be sent to the left and right outputs on the Kronos? And is it possible to change to the firepod Master outs when recording with mics vs line level stuff?
Korg Kronos 61, Korg Triton 61, Casio PX-5S, Alessis Vortex Wireless, Toshiba Satellite I7 8G RAM, Presonus Firepod, Sonar X3 Producer, Behringer Truth B2031A Ones I have had and probably should of kept: Univox EL Piano, Arp Axxe, Hammond L-100 w/ 910 Leslie, Minimoog, DX7, Kawai SX210 but like most of us I needed the cash!
