Hey guys,

I just read that even the Oasys doesn't have it (the value is always 64).

Does it mean that M3, Tritons don't have it as well? What about Kronos?

Reading that posts, it seems that Oasys indeed recognize release velocity. Kronos also does so. Considering M3 has a similar keybed as Kronos, it's likely it will also support release velocity.

Kronos has a release velocity between 0 and 64.

As far as I recall, Kronos was the first (KORG) workstation to support release velocity, at least from the internal keyboard.

I remember having to do a bunch of work in KARMA to support it, for the Kronos release.

And as far as I recall, it goes higher than 0 to 64. But that would be easy enough to see in a MIDI Monitor program. Just can't check it right now. ;)

Kurzweil PC3k also supports release velocity, the whole range.

CORRECTED: I see release velocities 64 and lower in MIDI Monitor. Nothing above 64.
