My personal opinion is that, on this particular issue, you have acted like a spoilt child, not as a sensible adult who thinks before he talks and acts, simply because you were angry you couldn't get a particular piece of info, info which you could have done without in the first place.
I'm not going to argue with you, you are free to think what you like.

But, I am going to stress once again that
you couldn't get a particular piece of info, info which you could have done without in the first place.
the info I and others wanted was how to recreate the calibration data that Danatkorg said was hidden on the SSD, implying we needed to return our boards to a service centre if we replaced the original SSD (for example if the SSD died)

That info was needed by many including me. If my SSD dies, I will buy one from a nearby store and have my Kronos up and running within the hour. But I can't do that if I loose this calibration data.

It was that reason and that reason only that I looked for the service manual.

You said earlier in this thread
Francois wrote:Yes, you're right to mention the calibration data. However, if you have the service manual, this is something you can recreate yourself.
Which backed up what Danatkorg said about the calibration data on the SSD.

You chose to say this, you fuelled people who had replaced their original SSD concerns that their kronos wasn't calibrated properly etc.

It turns out that there isn't calibration data mentioned anywhere in the service
Manual. The tests give the results, not a way of changing via software.

You decided to act special, implying the service manual has this calibration info, if you hadn't done this and dan hadn't bought the subject up (and it appears to be a myth), I wouldn't have felt it necessary to search out the manual to protect my investment.

It looks like a PR excersise by Korg to try and stop people upgrading their own SSD and you chose to back that up.

So you can call me a child if you like, but if you hadn't backed up Dan, and Dan had simply said what calibration data was stored (if any), none of this would have happened.

Although some of the questions remain unanswered, but I can set aside the initial reason for getting the manual.

I am one that is pleased to have access to the information and be able to carry out some tests (even if I can't alter most of the settings)which gives me a better idea of what's
happening with my keyboard.

Others are not compelled to use it,but should not have any cause for concern if the do.

Personally I appreciate Ojustaboo 's fine effort for what he did.
Thanks my friend.

Best Wishes.
