Hey guys!

I'm going to admit I'm no expert at any of this. Around 6 months ago I aquired my dads old keyboard, a Yamaha psr 640. I'm not a professional player, more of a casual one, but since I got it (plus recieving a bit of encouragement from a pro), I have really got into it and have certainly found a lot of enjoyment from it.

Anyway, about a month ago, the yamahas long life had come to an end and i was completely gutted! After reading some great reviews, and wanting to progress to bigger and better things, I purchased a korg x50 (admittingly not knowing anything about synthesizers). So yes, I now have a dilemma, because I have no idea where to begin! I think I've fallen into the deep end haha so I need a little help on how to understand programming and editing etc. I've only got one of the manuals that come with it too (as it is second hand), but have everything else, including the editing software disc. I understand that reading this will probably frustrate a lot of you, but I can assure you that I'm not looking for someone to hold my hand and do it all for me. I just need a point in the right direction so I can learn how to use my new synthesizer and get the most out of it.

Thanks for reading!

...oh and please constructive comments only!

Welcome to the forum ... if you want to see if more documents are available: check www.korg.com and find the X50.

That's great thanks! I only had the operations guide, and this was pretty helpful to have the pdf files on my phone.
