Midi track selection suddenly does not work - please help!

Hi,

I booted my Oasys today and it instantly started playing the default combi sound as if latched (it sounds like a hanging note).
Also, and importantly, no matter what song I open or when creating a new song- in sequencer page 4 mode I can not select any of the midi or audio tracks now. It is stuck on the track it currently is in.

Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly received.
Everything else seems to work ok, just the hanging note on start-up and the seemingly locked tracked selection. Also if I change the midi channel on track 1 to channel 2 set to a different sound. It still plays channel 1 sound combined with channel 2 sound.

So, on start up a combo played without touching keys and I couldn't change midi track in sequencer.

I checked the pedal polarities and still a problem.
Then realised pads were intermittent.
Recalibrating the pads from the Global menu fixed the problem.
And I feel great...
