This shows how to set up an effects loop in Combi Mode on the Kronos. The effects unit in this video is a Strymon Mobius, which is stereo and midi, but you can still get the basic concept for any stomp box.

Thanks for chiming in guys. Sometimes, when I post a "How To video", I wonder if it's actually helping anyone.

Great video :!: So I understand you used Combi mode because:
- The Mobius may be receiving on a different MIDI channel, so you can't use just a Program.
- You wish to send Program Change messages for the Mobius which would not be the same of the current program number on Kronos.

Is that right? This because for a stompbox which doesn't support MIDI, you can achieve this with a single Program, isn't it?

Yes that is correct.
Of course, there are some other benefits of using a combi. For instance, you can have one voice go through the effects loop and another voice bypass it.
