Any way to make a stereo sample into 2-mono samples?

I have a stereo sample. L channel a click track, R channel audio. I need to send the click to a dedicated output and the audio to L/R. There doesn't seem to be anyway to do this with a stereo sample.
Is there a way to separate the stereo sample into 2-mono samples? Then I could put each in a separate program and assign the outputs accordingly.
If not, the only thing I see is to do two recordings, once for each channel to create two mono samples. Is this correct?
Thanks!

No AFAIK

There's a command to convert Stereo to Mono sample, but it will join both samples... I think you'll have to externally separate the stereo sample so you can use it as two separate mono samples on Kronos

I have a feeling there is, but it's not intuitive and I'm not in front of my Kronos at the moment to check.
Will have a look tonight and post back.

May be that I misunderstand the problem, but when I import a stereo audio file for use in the Kronos sequencer as a background track, it is automatically split to left and right channels. I have to admit that I never checked if there is a true L-R splitting, or if there are two mixed-down mono tracks.

Well I used my PC editing to separate the L & R channels into two mono samples. Imported the waves and loaded into two programs. Got it now.
Thanks!

Just so you know for the future, you can do this on the Kronos. When you LOAD your wave file it, will show up as two samples, one "L" and one "R." In Sample mode, you can create a mono Multisample and assign the Left side to it. You can make another mono Multisample and assign the right side of the sample to it.
