PA3x - OS learning path

In my ongoing reading of many older threads here I have seen some folk mention the difficult learning of the PA3x operating system. This usually is accompanied with comments that the Tyros 4 is easier to learn.

I have downloaded the PA3x User Manual and am working through it.

As I'm still saving to buy one or the other arranger I'm curious as to exactly what is the difficulty that folk have encountered with the PA3x?

Sorry if I have missed the obvious!

Ian;

Most users want their arranger to sound shaped straight out of the box. Many don't have the time or desire to make the instrument personal, those would proberly choose the Yammie, which make them sound more or less the same as everyone else with that instrument. However, IF you want to put some time into personalizing your sound and the instrument - this instrument will seriously blow you away. I haven't regret my choice in a second, it takes some time getting used to the PA3 (this is my first PA arranger, before I had i3 & Va-7). The time you put into learning this instrument will definately come back 10-fold. If you like to make your own sound go with the Pa3x, if you don't want to personalize choose the yamaha. More or less my experience (in short words).. Hope it helped..
- Oh, and since it has touchscreen - its pretty logical what to do, and how.
