Hello, I have recently bought a kronos 73 and I'm still working through finding my way around how it works. I am stuck with trying to record vocals using the sequencer.

I had plugged in the mic thru Audio line input 1 (back panel), set the volume on the preferences tab (i can hear the vocals coming thru) and set it to record on audio track 1 with ln 1 as the input source. After playing back, nothing seemed to be recorded on the audio track 1. I have followed the tutorials on YouTube but I am not sure why the sequencer did not record the audio signal. Could anyone please help me, is there a configuration setting I may have missed?

Did you read the OG? There may be something in there that the video missed.

You have to go into the audio setup section of the sequencer and choose which input you want the sound to come through. You can choose R/L or use one of the effects [IFX].
You need to armthe channel for recording - frok play in green to red - record.

I had followed the manual step by step and postings but it is not recording the audio signal.

Today I went in to Korg dealer with my kronos and ask them for some assistance and we tested with the display kronos, followed the same steps I had done on my keyboard and it recorded the audio so I think there must be some global settings to enable the audio inputs to the sequencer? not sure? They have informed me to wait for another 2 wks for their technician to return from holidays to assist me with this issue.

Recording midi tracks is working except for the Audio tracks...so the sequencer is working somewhat..

Is there such thing as a global setting for the audio panel inputs, i am beginning to think that USB ports might not be working as well.
