Using Dual keyboards

Post by Beemer »

In an earlier post I mentioned that at present I have a Kurzweil K1200 88 key synth/master keyboard. To use this along with my as yet to be purchased PA3x, I am considering the physical location of each.

Considering aesthetics, it would be logical to have the longer 88 key as the lower and the 76 key the upper keyboard. However the PA3x key action, being 25 years younger than my Kurzweil, should play "nicer" so I should then put the PA3x on the bottom as it would be used more often.

Can dual keyboard stands, X, A or Z types allow quick change over of each keyboard?

Sorry, my question about quick change over must have raised a few laughs!

What I should have asked was "Can A, Z or X shaped dual stands accommodate different keyboard widths such that upper and lower keyboards can be swapped without too much effort?
