Hey you really, really, really need to chill out bro. You come here fresh and start throwing all of these accusatory statements at Bowmoney, when he never came off as arrogant or elitist or as a troll. Bowmoney has always been a chill dude and always willing to help out in the KAOSS forum. He was giving you some sound advice and you blew up on him. And to top it off you start acting like a whiny child, calling him a troll? Come off it, man.

I'm not trying to add any fuel to any fire here, just trying to tell you to actually listen to his advice. And for the future, if you come here as a new user, you shouldn't start accusing people with baseless claims just because you don't like their advice. It only makes YOU look like the arrogant one.

telling me to use my brain, buy a vid, use my imagination, be original and creative(implying im not), kept posting once the original post was answered, only to come to the same conclusion. and you calling me a whiny child, yea i can see how that might not come off as harassment? im seeking help, being told figure it out isnt helpful to someone asking for help, im defending myself as i see fit and yes troll fits.
when 3/5 posts are belittling what would you call it?
its insulting me and embarassing to him.

think of it, this was answered by the 2nd post.
the mod is already involved by now, if bowman wasnt being rude i wouldnt have called him on it, if i wasnt being trolled i wouldve had no need to call the troll a troll.
why cant people just help the people who need help, rather then belittle them

@bald eagle thanks for the comment, i thought i was going about it backwards by buying the KO2 first instead of getting the pro+, but now i see that it goes both ways, also yes from reading xmlguy post from 3 years back it appears that only the KO2 will have the arp patterns, no one wants to admit a possible poor decision, i agree! but i still wish they would
p.s. have you hooked your KO2 to the pro?

I only said I can because you specifically said there is no way I can create complicated arps...and I sure as hell can...and I sure as hell was trying to help you see that you could too...

I was never being rude because I never meant anything to be condescending, you just took it that way...imagination, creativity, mindfulness are all important elements in musical creation...that doesn't mean you don't do them, it means that everyone SHOULD do them...and I hope you are too, because when I used those skills, I figured it out pretty quickly with some practice...

defending him doesnt change his rude remarks.
if anything it proves you ran into a room asking for help,
avoided helping, called the OP names, while not addressing the issue that had already been answered, thanks to the few that were helpful but to people that jump on my head for seeking help and wanting to be treated humane shame on you, guarantee more will come to his aide
but when does saying to someone seeking help to figure it out helpful
i can create the arp patterns as best i can but they were are a staple of the other kaos products, i dont seek approval i seek help, being rude isnt helpful

I have not connected the two directly together. Something I will have to try one day. Maybe see if I get connect the monotone duo and delay to it as well and see what I can do. It's fun playing with this little gadgets.

one thing i really like to do is use the ko1 as the input source on the kpro, i get the original arps when i want them, and i think some of the sounds on the ko1 are just richer than the kpro, like the theramin for example...plus then you essentially have a 5 bank kpro!

it's not that you don't need them per se, it's that you can easily recreate them with the kpro OR you can just hook your ko1 up to your kpro and use it as an input source...they are a great team together

@bald eagle haha dude i was just about to connect my monotone too, delay and original also, its eerie, yes its the portable gadgets that get me everytime, ever since the korg ds10 on ds, if only i could connect that. hmmm? sorry for off topic but im hesitant to post any more posts, but the pro manual makes no mention of what type of mic?, i know i have a dynamic cardioid at my pad but im at gf atm and found my microkorg mic.... but i dont think itll work, im trying it but getting nothing?

you'll want a mic that does not require power...i think the korg vocoder mic does require power...an SM58 is a pretty good durable choice

really the microkorg mic needs power? i know the mic i have(not here) is a shure but not positive if its sm58, though it does say the sm58 is dynamic cardioid online, my problem really lies in the pro as a whole, i need to be sure everything is up and running so i know if i have a dud or not, be it in the connections, or the sound bank, touch pad, really all of it, but the slide knob for the gate/arp feels soo flimsy to fiddle with that i want no future problems
