KARMA Software - 2.2.9 Update (Mac/Windows)
Mac OS X 10.8/10.7 support and more!

July 15, 2013 - Karma-Lab has released a major update to four of its Korg-related software applications

KARMA Kronos 2.2.9 Update

KARMA M3 2.2.9 Update

KARMA M50 2.2.9 Update

KARMA Oasys 2.2.9 Update

Note: This only applies to the Korg-related software. KARMA Motif OS X 10.8 support will be coming soon
in a separate update.

The new Mac version 2.2.9 is a Universal application, and will run on Mac OS X 10.4 and higher, including
10.7 Lion and 10.8 Mountain Lion, PPC or Intel. We've also tested it on the Developer Preview of 10.9 Mavericks
without any major issues. Furthermore, some enhancements such as the ability to import and export .KGE files
between all four applications have been incorporated, along with a lengthy list of reliability enhancements and
bug fixes - see the Release Notes linked in the above announcements for a complete listing of all changes.

The new Windows version 2.2.9 includes all of the same enhancements and bug fixes as the Mac version,
and runs on XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 (32 and 64 bit).

This is a FREE update for current users; however, there is no "updater" - you must uninstall/remove the older
version of the program, backing up any data you may have created first to be safe (of course), and run the full
installer to install the new version. If you are a current owner and wish to update, please see the updates page
for complete details and to request your copy of the full installer:

Is it any easier to create user GEs?

That play it in the key of C major.....just makes things very difficult. (Able to do but seems more complicated than it should be. )

It would be nice to record the midi file import to karma and then karma generate the intervals....no matter the key.

Right?

Well, I suppose I could have the user identify the key of the riff during import... but that's not going to happen anytime soon. It's pretty complicated to change.

One thing: when you record the MIDI phrase, you could do it in whatever key you want, and then use the features in most DAWs to transpose the riff to CMaj7, before exporting the .MID file. Might work. ;)
