Hi Folks, I am wondering if it is possible to play the Kronos from set list mode and record via 2 mics in input 1 & 2 at the same time. I would like to record our rehersals so we could refer to them at a later time for ideas etc. I think it would be pretty handy if it can be done. I have 2 HDD's so I have plenty of room. Thanks! Marc

No. It is kinda quick to setup though, once you get the routine. You can hold enter and press rec and you'll jump to sequencer mode with your sound ready and record enabled. You'll have to manually route the mics though and mute the metronome. It's a couple of extra clicks but once you know where to go it should be quick.
Not entirely sure if you need to increase the song length beyond 64 bars (default length) or if it will automatically increase if you set it up this way. Does someone know? (btw since there is no longer a cue list I'm not sure I understand the purpose of a fixed song length anyway)

As far as I have experienced, while jamming with the Kronos, the recording stops after the last bar. So I give it enough length to catch all the ideas. Let me know, If I have missed something ...

Thanks Guys for the responses, I will try it out. I was hoping there was a way to just record to the hard drive or flash drive from any mode. I will try as you suggested but I will have to load in a few sounds into the sequencer so I can change sounds on the fly. Either with the solo buttons or mute or even the faders. Hopefully I can make it work. Thanks... If any one has a better way, please chime in!
