OT no other group available - Sheet-music PC reader software

I was going to buy MusicReader PDF4 Pro software to use with my Lenovo Thinkpad x200 Tablet PC. This program can scan my existing sheet music and create a multi column sortable database then display the searched music result as a PDF.

All looked good until I started reading the posts at:

My impression now is that the (100MB) software program now in version 4.93 has several negative issues in the areas of speed and displayed image quality.
I see repeated responses from Marco Leoné (the CEO) saying "have you downloaded the latest version" and "send us a copy of your file and we'll pass it to the developer?" MusicReader was Marco's idea but perhaps the programmers are third party.
Anyhow I'm very interested if anyone knows other similar software for Windows PC? Additionally linking such software to PA3x Songbook would be a great combination (already available if using an iPAD as described in a thread in this group)
