Hi,
I have a PA3x and I can't seem to turn the lead vocals off. I want to record just the harmonies on mp3 to make a backing vocals track but I can't turn off the lead vocal. I have tried the lead mute button and adjusted other settings as listed in the manual but none have any effect. I have only had the pa3x for a few weeks and hadn't tried this function before this.
Can anyone advise on this?

Re: voice processor lead mute
If the voice is not in the center of the stereo (MP3?) mix and also if it has vocal processing applied then you will not be able to remove the voice.dazza777 wrote:Hi,

This applies whether or not you are using a PA3x.

Lead mute
Hi,
I don't know exactly what your trying to do but if it is trying to record an mp3
While playing a style or midi and just have the harmonies come through,
I have mic + harmony buttons on, then go into global menu ,vocal processor
Preset, tab along to mixer fx and in reverb adjust turn lead to rev off
Then touch harmony tab and in bottom right turn lead level off, this stops lead and lead rev entering harmonies,
You can then top right drop down menu write this global preset.
Hope this helps
