Korg Kaoss Pad Quad Question!

Hi Guys , we just got the Korg Kaoss Pad Quad witch is nice , but for some reason we have a little bit more hiss from lets say the Electribe SX(fine for pro recordings) and maybe a bit more from the Monotron witch is usually noisey.
At the moment we connect it with arc cables patched with arc to jack converters into Apogee Duet 2 Pre amps and recording this way.
Is it possible dodgy cables or the kaoss pads are just very noisey ?
We have some good denoisers but if someone have similar experience with the Kass Pads would be nice to share some tips with us !
